Another glorious and leisurely week has gone by. Here's some of how we passed the time:
Sid played 'Doggie in the Rain' while, of course, wearing shorts on her head. (Ears, I'm guessing?)
The lawn got a bonus shot of much needed water, too.
Then, we got to join a little weekend backyard family party. Happy birthday Nikki! Here, two of my best besties, Nikki and Nicky.
Later, in Naperville:
Florida kids think a hot tub is the perfect pool temperature! Thanks grandpa, grammy and Auntie Manders!
The butts of many a Baleiko have bounced on this original Hippity-Hop, circa 1970-something.
We rounded out the day with a little sidewalk chalk...
...and customized backyard golf course!
After a good night's rest: a trip to the Children's Garden at the Morton Arboretum with Grama Karen.
Ben spied a bunch of camouflaged bull frogs.
Both kids rocked the tree walk...
...and had the best game ever of hide-and-seek in the maze garden.
The perfect end to another a-maze-ing week.
