Thursday night, the Naperville bunch treated us to a Cougars baseball game. The minor league team out of Kane County, IL put on a great show for an unbeatable price. As one of the first 1,500 fans to arrive we got free Cougars hats. We sat FRONT ROW just beyond 1st base, and Ben was zeroed in on the action the entire time. He even got a signed ball. Though the Cougars were not victorious, the event ended with a spectacular fireworks display, and the kids got to run around the bases. That's some homegrown fun, I tell ya.
Sid might have appeared to be more interested in the snacks, but she had her eye on the action too. Watch out Ben! In a year or two, you'll have competition on the t-ball field!
