Just a typical Fall day - 87 degrees with pumpkins roasting under the palm trees. Well, typical for south Florida anyway. I had the pleasure of joining Sidney's pre-K class this week for their farm field trip, on the mainland. Sharing these kinds of experiences with our kids is one of the highlights of my life. Sid is quite the animal lover, and she was smitten with her taste of farm life. She- and all her classmates - had a down-home, hands-on good time.
Pumpkin patch:
Petting a baby chick:
And a rooster:
We eat what for Thanksgiving??
First pony ride:
Milking a goat:
Examining food pellets:
Feeding goats:
Checking out Otis the cow:
"Mom, if we just LIVED on a farm, then we'd never have to leave!"
A memorable day for the whole class. Now quick, into the air conditioned cars!
Happy Fall everyone!
