Spring Break, Part 2: FINALLY!

Time to finish the Spring Break edition before we're all watching fireworks and eating fresh sweet corn! Here are a few more favorites from our April visit to the Chitown area.
Sidney and Sami Schultz became fast friends. The Ferris wheel at Navy Pier gave us a bird's eye view of the skyline (and some butterflies in our tummies).
Auntie Manders showed Ben how to decorate sugar cookies for Easter, and let him sample plenty of frosting.
The relic Marbleworks is still a hit with the kids!
Every time that an egg went in white, and came out a vibrant color, Ben couldn't suppress a genuinely wonderous, "Whoooooa! It's orange now!"
Eighteen times.Beautiful and tastey results.
We paid a visit to the Shedd Aquarium on a chilly morning......and made several trips to Loyola U, to watch Matt play in his final season of volleyball.
All that activity can make a real kid tired, but real happy, too.
