Last weekend Nikki Schultz traded hot and sticky Illinois for hot and stickier Florida, just to meet Sidney in her early days. Most of the time was spent in the a/c, but her visit was so much fun for us all.
It may not look comfortable to YOU, but Sidney could ride this way all day.
Ben had a blast showing off for Sami and Tommy's mommy.
Thanks for making the trip (and thanks Jeff and family for making it possible)! See you again soon!
Sidney had her two-month doctor check-up today and here are the stats: She's now 11 lbs. 4 oz. and the height of an average three-month-old. Long and lean, like her brother. She got her first round of vaccinations. Ben was visibly sad for his sister when she cried. Nothing a lollipop couldn't fix, though. And he got praise from the doctor for "using the potty chair now." We're in the process of learning. The track record is hardly perfect, but at least the diaper budget has gone way down.
Sidney's repitoire of playthings is expanding, and Ben's having fun rediscovering old favorites.
But nothing is more fun then real, slimey, smelly mangrove snapper!
